Change of China's rural economic institution and congestion of agricultural factors: analysis on congestion level of agricultural factors in 1978-2010

摘要： The aim of this paper is to analyze whether the change of rural economic institution affects congestion of agricultural production factors. The paper, for the first time, by using econometric model, measures the resource allocation level and congestion status of agricultural production factors, and analyzes the effect of change of rural economic institution on resource allocation of agricultural production factors in China. The results show that the phenomenon of congestion of agricultural production factors is prevalent and tends to be more severe. Therefore, the corresponding polices and institutional support mechanism should be established to encourage the trans-regional rational allocation of agricultural production factors, thus achieving a rational status of factor resources allocation.
