摘要: The present study was conducted to investigate the effect of deep application of liquid fertilizer at the tillering stage on the lodging resistance of two fragrant rice cultivars, i.e., Yuxiangyouzhan and Xiangyaxiangzhan, in the late season of 2019 and 2020. The experimental treatments were comprised of no fertilizer (T1), application of solid fertilizer at 150 kg ha-1 (T2), application of liquid fertilizer with 10% less nitrogen (T3), and liquid fertilizer with 20% nitrogen reduction at the tillering stage (T4). Results depicted that stem thickness and stem wall thickness of the stems in the 3rd and 4th internode from ear to base at the maturity stage were increased under the T3 and T4 treatments, compared with T2 treatment. In contrast, the internodal length remained the highest under the T2 treatment in both rice cultivars, whereas at the maturity stage, the lignin and cellulose content of the stem sheaths were higher in both T3 and T4 treatments. Moreover, the lodging remained higher in the T2 treatment. For both rice cultivars, the nitrogen content in different plant parts showed an decreasing trend from the panicle initiation stage to the maturity stage, while the phosphorus and potassium content in different parts of the plant remained inconsistent from panicle initiation to the maturity stage. The highest levels of phosphorus and potassium were detected under the T3 treatment. Deep application of liquid fertilizer at the tillering stage with 10% nitrogen reduction not only saves nitrogen fertilizer but also improves the lodging resistance of fragrant rice.
