Characterization and cross-species amplification of 14 polymorphic microsatellite loci in Xenophysogobio boulengeri

摘要: The ray-finned fish Xenophysogobio boulengeri is endemic to the upper Yangtze River basin in China. By using the Fast Isolation by Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism of Sequences Containing repeats protocol, we identified fourteen microsatellite loci in a wild population. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 3 to 15. The observed and expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.125 to 1 and from 0.122 to 0.925, respectively. Cross-amplification was tested in related species X. nudicorpa and Gobiobotia filifer.
