摘要: Jasminum sambac L. is one of the most economically important species of the Oleaceae family. For adequate potted production and supply of plant materials for tolerance research to the external environment and breeding program, an efficient micropropagation system needs to be developed. The purpose of this study is to establish system for micropropagation of I sambac through in vitro axillary shoots induction. The axillary buds sprouting in the basal culture medium WPM were cultured on elongation medium supplemented with 2 mg l(-1) IBA, 0.5 mg l(-1) BA and 0.7 mg l(-1) GA(3). The elongated shoots were cut into nodal segments and then placed on the shoot multiplication media. Maximum number of shoots (11.1 per explant) was induced on medium containing 1 mg 11 zeatin and 0.5 mg l(-1) IBA. The most effective protocol of rooting (86.4%) was when shoots were first dipped in 450 mg l(-1) NAA solution for 10 min and then subcultured to the basal half strength WPM.
