摘要: Microcrystal particles of Megestrol acetate(MA) were prepared using antisolvent precipitation technique that a simple method for reduction of particle sizes. Prepared microcrystal particles had an average size of 607.2-1984.4 nm with narrow size distribution, whereas the raw MAhad a particle size of several tens /Jin with wide sizedistribution. DSC, XPRD patterns and FT-IR spectra showed changes of crystallinity, morphology (crystal habit). In the dissolution tests, the processed MA showed enhanced dissolution properties when compared to the raw MA owing to a decreased particle size and an increased specific surface area.
