摘要: The Internet of Things (IoT) Intra-Venious (IV) and patient monitoring system aims to create a cost-effective, scalable remote monitoring system for patients and IV therapy using IoT technology. It comprises an IV monitoring module and a patient monitoring module that track vital signs and IV therapy progress. Therefore, healthcare providers can remotely monitor patients, receiving alerts for anomalies and tracking IV therapy. An alert system notifies staff of IV bag replacement needs, reducing human error risks. Nursing staff manage patients in general and emergency wards, sending status reports to doctors. The proposed system involves circuit setup, sensor integration, Arduino code, web app development, and testing for reliability. The system has been tested offline and excellent results were obtained. Moreover, some healthcare providers tried the different modalities and they insist on the performance and usability of this system as 97.5% noted the help that this system could provide, especially with the staff number that is limited nowadays in hospitals.
