Screening the Varieties and Determining the Differential Indexes on Heat Tolerance in Germination Period of Cucumber

摘要: Four cucumber varieties of different ecological types were used in this experiment. Measure the indexes such as germination energy, germination percentage, coefficient of germination under 28°C ,35°C ,40°C ,42°C ,45°C. The results showed that germinating ability drops as temperature is going up, 45°C is the upper limit, coefficient of germination under 42°C may be differential index on heat tolerance in germination period of cucumber seed. Take use of the temperature index , approbate the heattolerance in germination period, make a result that some varieties' coefficients of germination are higher at 42°C such as 217,1058 - 1 631 - 1 325 jizao 3 ,bailvjie, yinxing etc. These varieties are materials with better heat resistance in germinationperiod of cucumber
