摘要: Tartary buckwheat and its products are drawing more and more attention since people knowing its important nutritional composition and therapeutic value. Tartary buckwheat can be used as a health food or medicine (Park et al. , 2000; Zhao, et al. , 2001 ) . Tartary buckwheat has become a very important raw material of food products. Shanxi people like to eat Tartary buckwheat food and the market requires more Tartary buckwheat products. Shanxi province is located in the eastern part of the Loess plateau in North China. Many places in Shanxi especially in its middle and north parts are higher in elevation, with cold climate, and suitable for Tartary buckwheat cultivation. There are many Tartary buckwheat varieties planting in Shanxi province. It is necessary to continue the preservation and evaluation of buckwheat genetic resources . The Institute of Crop Germplasm Resources has stored 232 buckwheat germplasm materials in its cold storage since 1980s, 150 of them are Tartary buckwheat. Shanxi started a new project in 2005 to digitalize its important resources. Tartary buckwheat became a small part of its content. This paper introduced the project and inquiring method.
