摘要: Two unprecedented 2-(2-phenethyl)chromone dimers, aquicrassones A and B (1 and 2), were isolated by HPLCMS guided method from the ethanol extract of red soil agarwood originating from Aquilaria crassna in Vietnam. Their structures were unambiguously elucidated by analysis of HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR, CD data and by comparison with literature data. Compounds 1 and 2 were evaluated for their inhibition effect on nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW264.7 cells. Compound 2 displayed anti-inflammatory activity with an IC50 value of 20.36 +/- 0.41 mu M.
