Studies on the Genetic Diversity of Phenotype Characteristics for Different Dahlia Populations

摘要: Eighty-four elite dahlia cultivars of four flower populations were used as the experiment materials in this study. Seven kinds of phenotype characteristics were studied to analyze the genetic diversity of Dahlia. The result indicated that the difference of stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, flower diameter, and pedicel were significant among different flower type populations. The difference between plant height and petiole length were not significant among different populations. The mean phenotypic differentiation coefficient (V-ST) of dahlia populations was 0.5143. The V-ST showed that the variation among populations (51.43 %) was slightly higher than that within populations (48.57 %). The correlations between flower diameter and plant height, stem diameter were negative and highly significant in large flower type population. There were significant correlations in regard to the flower diameter and petiole length in small flower type population. The leaf length was significant positively correlated with leaf width in four flower type populations. The correlation degree of different phenotype characteristics was different in the same flower type population.
