Strobilomyces sculptus sp. nov. (Boletaceae) from eastern China with morphological and molecular evidence

摘要: Strobilomyces sculptus, collected from a mixed forest of eastern China, is described here as a novel species based on the morphological and molecular evidence. It is typically characterized by chestnut, sculpted, erect to pyramidal scales on the pileus, chestnut tomentose scales on the stipe, large pores, reticulate basidiospores with medium-sized meshes, a white context turning grayish-black to light rusty red then black on exposure and a mainly subtropical distribution. Morphological description, illustrations, four-gene based phylogenetic analyses and comparison with the similar taxa are given for this new species.
