Electrochemical Cyclization of α,β-Alkynic Hydrazones and Primary Amines for the Synthesis of 3-Alkynyltriazoles

摘要: An environmentally friendly iodine-catalyzed electrochemical synthetic protocol has developed to access 3-alkynyltriazoles through the cyclization of alpha,beta-alkynic hydrazones and primary amines. This reaction is carried out without the addition of electrolyte with excellent functional group tolerance in an undivided cell under mild conditions, affording substituted 3-alkynyltriazoles with moderate to good yields. The gram scale reaction demonstrates the potential of this protocol in industrial synthesis.
