摘要: The technique of transformation via agrobacterium tumefaciens in maize has been applied since 1988. Transgenic maize hybrids with insect resistance and herbicide resistance have been commercialized. In the paper, the important progress made in gene transformation of maize with agrobacterium tumefaciens and prospects of maize improvement were discussed.
