Fabrication of an electrochemical sensor for the rapid and sensitive detection of enrofloxacin in meat samples

摘要: In this study, we present a novel electrochemical sensor for the rapid and sensitive detection of enrofloxacin residues in meat samples. Our sensor utilizes a cobalt-based hybrid-modified glassy carbon electrode (CoCH-6 h/GCE) and optimizes various experimental parameters to enhance detection precision and sensitivity. We achieved a remarkable detection limit of 0.1 mu M and demonstrated excellent selectivity with minimal interference from common substances. Notably, our modified electrode exhibited commendable repeatability, with relative standard deviations of 5.58% for the same electrode and 4.48% across different electrodes. Our method was successfully applied to detect enrofloxacin in pork meat samples, showcasing its practical utility. The proposed sensor offers a promising solution for enrofloxacin detection due to its simplicity, high sensitivity, and suitability for on-site and real-time monitoring. By addressing the challenge of antibiotic residue detection in food products, our study contributes to ensuring food safety and public health while preserving the effectiveness of antibiotics for human medicine.
