EVALUATE HYBRID CROSSES BY GENOTYPE VALUE AND HETEROSIS FOR DOUBLE LOW RAPESEED (B. napus)

摘要: ADM (Additive-Dominant-Maternal) model was used in 15 cytoplasmic male sterile hybrids and their parents to predict the hybrids genotype value and heterisis. It showed that, F_1 hybrids had significant heterosis; On the other hand, strong heterosis cross also had high genotype value, the low heterosis cross had low genotype value. So we can use genotype value combining with heterosis to appraise crosses. It can increase the foresight of our breeding, shorten our breeding period and accelerate the pace of our breeding. Cross 13( A_3 X R_3) was the best cross. Both its mid-parent heterosis and above better parent heterosis were the highest. Its genotype value was also very high.
